Iron has deliberately not been included in the InNatal formula. Although iron is in high demand during pregnancy, supplementation with iron is not universally recommended for all mothers-to-be at every stage of their pregnancies. InNatal® plus Iron has been formulated for women requiring iron supplementation.
CoQ10 100mg twice daily has been safely used during pregnancy.[1]
Concurrent use of iodine with antithyroid medications or lithium may result in additive hypothyroid activity.[2]
Concomitant use of potassium iodide with ACE inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers or potassium-sparing diuretics may increase the risk of hyperkalaemia.[2]
